Part 2ListeningSection 8 of 8
2.8A four-week listening routine
Four sessions a week of twenty minutes each will do far more for you than one long session.
| Session | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Do a full listening section under test conditions: once only, no pausing, no translating. |
| 2 | Mark it, then listen again with the script in front of you and mark every point where you went wrong. |
| 3 | Listen only to the parts you got wrong, again and again, until you can hear the word clearly. |
| 4 | Write twenty new words from the recording into your notebook with their pronunciation, and review them the next day. |
