Part 2ListeningSection 1 of 8
2.1How the section is built
| Recording | Type | Context | Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Conversation between two people | Everyday life: booking, enquiring, registering | Easiest |
| 2 | One speaker | Everyday life: a tour, instructions, an announcement | Easy |
| 3 | Two to four people | Educational: discussing an assignment or project | Harder |
| 4 | One speaker | An academic talk or lecture | Hardest |
Each recording carries 10 questions. The questions always follow the order of the recording. If you are hunting for question 5 and you hear something that belongs to question 6, then question 5 has gone. Leave it, guess, and move forward. Students who refuse to let go of one question lose three.
